Roof top good. Hotel room 150.000VND/ 1 day. Rất Tốt.
I'm not sure who runs the place but I'd imagine it's uncle. Keep the good work up unc! I can't for the life of me figure out the work dynamic. Like...who is doing what? Not a complaint but definitely feel like I should get it off my chest. Booked this hostel (6 people in total). We were initially met with a young freshly woken up lady. Sorry for waking you up princess. Odd place to sleep (in front of the bar). Might be better to let uncle do the talking. I was under the impression she'd just undergone an exorcism so I kept my distance, naturally. I'm pretty sure she was asleep the whole day on the sofa. Hope you're okay.. Rooms newly refurbished. I love freshly cut wood but that's just me. Reminds me of going hardware shopping. Fun times huh? There's a rooftop bar also! No lift so just brave the stairs. Not that bad. Cool bar - worth it. They have a pool table. Not entirely flat. But makes pool more interesting that's for sure.
Mailala Hostel was such a fun and cozy place to stay! The rooms were clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a good night’s rest. The highlight for me was definitely the rooftop dining – the atmosphere was lively yet relaxed, with great food, drinks, and views that made every evening special. A big shoutout to Beth, who was incredibly welcoming and provided excellent customer service from the moment I arrived. She made the stay feel personal and really went the extra mile to make sure guests were comfortable and enjoying themselves. The staff overall were super friendly and helpful, and I met so many great people here. The rooftop was the perfect spot to connect, relax, and make memories. If you’re looking for a place in Vietnam that’s more than just a hostel – one that feels like a community with good vibes and genuine hospitality – Mailala Hostel & Rooftop Dining is the place to go. I’d happily stay again!
Food was absolutely horrendous Definitely not jamaican food Where do I start Ordered curry chicken taste more like indian curry chicken, the rice was cold, told the woman the rice is cold she picked up the rice off my plate with her hands, to see if it was cold and said sorry and walked off My friend ordered curry goat they come out with oxtail with no meat on We ordered jerk on the side and waited a hour for the jerk, didn't even taste like jerk at all. Definitely not authentic jamaican food Worst Caribbean food I ever had in my life well I wouldn't even call Caribbean. Was not happy.
