Hanoi Loopers Hostel & Rooftop Bar

The roof top bar is amazing. Good vibes, music and cosy. Staff very friendly! Possibility to leave luggage at the reception. 😁 Very quiet, suitable if you’re looking for a place where you can work, on the ground floor. I recommend for sleep or chill !

Je n’ai absolument pas apprécié cette auberge. Dès l’arrivée, on se rend compte que le bâtiment est extrêmement étroit : circuler avec un sac à dos relève presque du parcours du combattant. Les dortoirs sont minuscules et oppressants. La propreté laisse clairement à désirer. Avec 6 personnes par chambre, les douches et toilettes devraient être nettoyées très régulièrement — ce qui est loin d’être le cas. À mon arrivée, l’état était inacceptable. Le petit déjeuner est certes inclus, mais arrivé à 9h30, il ne restait absolument plus rien. Côté services, tout est prétexte à facturation supplémentaire : serviette payante, caution au check-in, puis une autre caution si vous souhaitez une clé de casier (non compatible avec un cadenas personnel). L’ambiance est étouffante, l’humidité constante — ma serviette n’a jamais réussi à sécher — et je ne me suis jamais senti aussi mal à l’aise dans un hébergement. Les seuls points positifs sont l’emplacement et le rooftop, et encore… cela ne compense absolument pas le reste. Dormir ici revient presque à dormir dans une cellule de prison. Je déconseille fortement

I really enjoyed my stay at this hostel. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The bar is a great place to meet people and has a really nice atmosphere. Overall, the hostel was clean and well maintained, and the breakfast buffet was quite extensive and very tasty. The space is a bit tight and the beds are on the smaller side, but that didn’t bother me personally. A small shelf next to the bed would be very helpful, though. After a canceled flight, the hostel refunded the nights I couldn’t stay — even though my cancellation was to late. That was extremely kind and absolutely not something I took for granted. I would come back anytime and can wholeheartedly recommend this hostel.

The buffet was rich. the staff is very polite and also our clothes when we gave them to be washed smelled clean, a nice light scent |**the only negative is the beds are very narrow and it would be perfect if they had a small shelf for personal items
