By accessing or using the Where Go Viet Nam website and mobile app (collectively, the “Service”), you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please stop using the Service.
If you are under 16, you may only use the Service with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
Where Go Viet Nam is a platform for discovering, ranking and keeping memories of places in Vietnam (cafés, restaurants, photo spots, beaches, homestays…). Users can search for places, favorite (heart) them, upvote, do location-verified check-ins, write memories and track their own journey.
We may change, suspend or discontinue any feature of the Service at any time without prior notice, unless the law requires otherwise.
Some features require signing in, done through a third-party provider (e.g. Google). You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account.
You agree to provide accurate, up-to-date information. We may suspend or delete an account if we detect a breach of these Terms or fraudulent behavior.
“User content” includes photos, memory text, reviews, background music and any other content you upload. You retain ownership of your content.
By uploading, you grant Where Go Viet Nam a non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, worldwide license to store, display, reproduce and distribute that content for the purpose of operating and promoting the Service. You represent that you have all necessary rights to the content you upload and that it does not infringe the rights of any third party.
When using the Service, you must not:
The check-in feature uses GPS location to confirm you are within roughly a 100m radius of a place. You need to grant location access to your browser/app to use this feature. Each place can be checked in at most once per day.
We use location data solely to power the check-in feature and to display your journey, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Each check-in may include at most one memory (photos, notes, companions, background music). To preserve the authenticity of the moment, a memory can only be edited or deleted within 30 minutes of being created; after that, the memory is locked.
The “saved / favorite” place list is curated monthly and may be reset (cleared) at the start of each month. We will notify you in-app before any reset occurs.
All trademarks, logos, interface, source code and content created by Where Go Viet Nam are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, modify or commercially exploit them without our written consent.
The Service may display tours, bookings or links provided by partners/third parties. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, products or transactions of third parties. Any transaction is a direct agreement between you and the provider.
The collection and processing of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you agree to the data handling set out in that policy.
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee that places, reviews or displayed information are always accurate, complete or up to date.
To the extent permitted by law, Where Go Viet Nam is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or harm other users or the system.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The new version takes effect once posted. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the changes.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam. Any dispute will be resolved by the competent authorities in Vietnam.
